There are two churches which form Churches Together in Broomhill and Broomhall: St Andrew’s URC and St Mark’s, Broomhill. The Beacon Church at Broomhill has recently closed .
The executive of CTBB, which consists of 6 trustees, meets during the year to manage the work that the churches do together. The General Council, consisting of the representatives of each church, meets twice a year to hear about the work and to input ideas. There is an AGM after Easter. CTBB employs a Worker with Older People, manages the Broomhall Girls Youth Club at the Broomhall Centre and the Friday Breakfast at St Andrew’s. There are also regular times of worship and learning together, in Lent, on Good Friday and a joint celebration of Holy Communion at Pentecost at the different venues in rotation. The ministers of the churches meet regularly and there are observers from each church on one another’s church councils.
