Fifth Sunday in Epiphany and Celebration of Holy Communion

Service Date:
5 February, 2018

Worship was led by The Revd. Dr. David Stec who preached on God's challenge to the Judaean exiles in Babylon - ''To whom then will you compare me?'' God is incomparable because of hs work in creation and his control of the events of history. He  has a purpose to fulfil and as part of that he brings his people back from exile. A new phase in the fulfilment of God's purpose is seen in Jesus' acts of healing.
